KRKA ENDURO RAID 2012 - PRESS RELEASE

Monday, April 30, 2012 closed at Primosten, Croatia, the Second Edition of the 2 days International Croatian Enduro Raid called KRKA ENDURO RAID - branded TRXRAID SAGL.

With the experience of last year, the organization has strengthened its strong points, offering 500 kilometres of track indicated by arrows and completely new, divided into two levels of difficulty, CLASSIC for enduro specialist and SOFT for twins and quads.

Also this year more than 100 members take part to this event from Italy, Austria, Croatia and Switzerland.

The route, starting and finishing in the village square Rudina of Primosten, provided a first track to the northwest reaching the town of Sibenik for the first refreshment. The second day, Monday 30th, the track went to the North-East with refreshments in the town of Trogir. The average percentage of off-road tracks over the 2 days was 85%

News of this II Edition is the competitive element originated from the characteristic Special Stage held on the first day on the beach in Primosten for mono or twin cylinders.
The top three of the mono category are: 1st place, Mauro Ferrucci, 1:16.500 – 2nd place, Pratelli Luca 1:17.661 – 3rd place, Stefano Martinelli, 1:20.313. Winner of the female category, Valentina Anzani. The overall ranking is available in the event page on the site www.trxraid.com

Also of note, the introduction of the TRX Training Camp School, held on 27th-28th April. 11 members who were able to improve driving under the technical supervision of the organizer Marco Borsi.

The tracks are the result of several scouting and the hard work of tracking which started in January by the TRXRAID staff with the support of MC Sibenik led by Darko Rogulic and irreplaceable and indefatigable Kresimir Komar.
The success of the event is also the result of the helpfulness of local authorities: the City and the Tourism Authority of Primosten, the City of Trogir, the City of Sibenik, the boys of MC Sibenik and timekeepers of the Special Test.

This year the local population has proved even more welcoming. They showed interest to the event as spectators of the Special Test and took part to the final village festival offered by the Municipality of Primosten and held in Piazza Rudina with music and excellent local cuisine.

Thanks to the participation of the sponsors, all participants have received numerous gadgets and valuable prizes distributed by prize draw during the first welcome evening, Sunday 29/04 at the Hotel Zora, headquarters of the organization.
